“Get ready for the most wonderful time of the year—well, at least the busiest time of the year.
Look, we know shopping for the holidays can be stressful (who wants to be in a crowded department store?), so why not do something you enjoy and hang out somewhere you love! We are here to help you nab the best presents for your loved ones— and maybe for yourself (*wink*) — at our winter holiday market!
We will be featuring three of our favorite local creatives for a Meet-the-Makers Holiday Market on Friday, December 14th from 4PM – 7PM. Samantha Leung from Hemleva will be here with a new selection of holiday pins and keychains, helping to keep your accessories game festive and on point. Sarah Simon from the Mint Gardener and Ellen Sontra from Letters by Ellen will be live hand painting as well as lettering ornaments for purchase. Mint Gardener and Letters by Ellen will have beautiful handmade holiday cards to shop and we will be serving hot chocolate with marshmallows to keep things extra cozy and cheery!
Come celebrate the season and join us on 12/14 to shop our newest arrivals, grab some unique holiday treasures, and support your local community all in one stop! Shopping for the holidays doesn’t have to be stressful – you can still have fun!

MEET THE MAKERS:
Samantha Leung has always been an artist and a maker - from screen printing to candle pouring, hand-sewing costumes to oil painting, her creativity and passion for design has spanned across multiple mediums from a very early age. Being quite the plant enthusiast, Samantha launched Hemleva in 2013 with a selection of beautifully handcrafted sconces, ornaments, pins, keychains, and more, all plant inspired! Based in Seattle, Hemleva's products can now be found in over 300 stores across the world.
Sarah Simon is the Designer, Artist Illustrator and Author of TheMintGardener. Finding inspiration in the ever-blooming variety of textures and colors in her urban garden, Sarah creates and teaches lush watercolors inspired by the diverse variety of herbs, flowers, and trees grown in her yard. Focusing upon cool, crisp tones that make up the pacific northwest, Sarah has created a therapeutic relationship with nature in which she finds gratitude in its small details. With a continually blooming following of botanical and art lovers alike, Sarah shares her teaching talents locally in Seattle, where she regularly instructs watercolor classes to students of all skill levels! Her teaching has received international attention with her online painting course in the Watercolor Summit. Sarah’s work has been featured in many publications and blogs worldwide and has been celebrated in the form of commercial product design, stationery, textiles and wholesale and private commissions.
Ellen Sontra started her calligraphy business back in 2008, but has been perfecting her gorgeous lines for more than fifteen years! Hand-written lettering is a classic and timeless detail that makes any big event or ordinary day special. Whether she is lettering on paper and chalkboards or using more creative canvases such as wine bottles and greenery, Ellen’s whimsical and elegant calligraphy is one she loves to share with the community. Ellen’s clients include brides, event planners, wine makers, and many more! Based out of North Seattle, Ellen offers both public and private calligraphy lessons with each class being a unique experience.”
